Saturday the 8th is Akron’s St Patrick’s Day Parade

The Mark Heffernan/Margaret Judge Divisions of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, in association with the City of Akron, will kick-off the 42nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Line-up for the parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of S. Main St. between Bartges St. and Cedar St.  At 11:50 a.m., S. Main St. will close entirely between Bartges St. and Mill St. The road will reopen no later than 2:30 pm.  

The parade will feature high school and grade school bands, non-profit organizations, businesses, animal groups, floats, and more.
